Ti-ti-ti-ti-Team Panini! Only a few weeks after they unveiled the video for their EMIII track 'Got Damn', Nasty Nag and Lil' Panini decided to spoil us some more and dropped a brand new visual tale and track called '#BEEST' on chew-tube. Beautifully shot scenes depicting our protagonists waking up at the Diamant HQ, probably on some afternoon after a long night out. We're especially proud of all the Apetown stickers that made it into the video. Props to Chelle for the vid, and a mean fistbump to Cold Casey for the freezing cold beat production.

While you're spending money anyway, we would also like to suggest you take a look at Ward Zwart's new book 'Mostly Cola'; a beautiful handbound compilation book with some of his zines and booklets published over the past two years, as well as some new work. Ward also has some drawings up at Kornél, a new coffeehouse in Berchem/Antwerp (aren't there enough of those around here by now?). Alongside various coffee drinks, the 'Mostly Cola' book is available at the counter for a twenty euro bill. People who do not like leaving their house to do some shopping can also order it at Ward's online shop.

Regular Johns will have noticed in a blink of an eye, the website has been updated a little bit. Especially note the new 'FREE' link up there, this will take you to a page with some free downloadables. For now, we've got some iPad background tryouts for you, but also expect some desktop wallpapers in the near future.
Also, we're happy to release some good news from the retail department; our thirteenth shirt will be ready mid January. They will be printed on Fruit Of The Loom Value Weight shirts, and will cost you a mere 13 eurodollars (postage not included). Spread the word!

We recently reported on doing a few collabs, and we're proud to finally announce one of them. Apetown hooked up with Kid Vanilla to produce these orangutan shirts and the banana print series. Part of the sales from these 2 prints will directly go to the Sumatran Orangutan Society (SOS), a fund that offers a better, free life to these great apes.
The complete KV collection will be available early 2012 in select stores and in the Kiddy Vanilly webshop.

Nothing but sad monkeys in the -late night- office at this wee hour. News just broke that Steve Jobs has passed away. Even though we sort of have a thing for bananas, being born in the same year as the company that produces those apple computers has always rubbed off on us. Their gizmos definitely helped us expanding our horizons and revolutionize our mission objective from biting hands to kicking shins. Steve, thanks for the good times!

The unbelievable and unexpected has happened, we've managed to collect 6000 tapes for an upcoming art project. Now we've only got to figure out where to stock them for the time being.

Tomorrow's the opening of the Pop Art show at NICC. Scheld'apen was invited to do an exhibition at the NICC space, and the lazy monkeys in charge in their turn asked Kati Heck, Michèle Matyn, Lieven Segers and Dennis Tyfus to do the hard work and curate the damn show, which will be filled with work of befriended artists who often call Scheld'apen home away from home. Drop by and bring your Barbies and G.I.Joe dolls.

My back's all popped out and I had the weirdest dream ever after the most intense, jam-packed and definitely craziest night of the year. Here's some boring backstage/hell's kitchen corn action, which sadly enough is pretty much the only video footage shot all night. An off-screen and spooning Vincenzo Strupar in action, heating up some tequila, peppers and lime popcorn, later followed by caramel and pecan nuts popcorn, parmesan cheese popcorn, and peanutbutter popcorn. Next year's Ultra Eczema nightmare song will most likely be Paloma Blanca, who knows what we'll cook up for that occasion.
Rounding up and killing two birds with one stone, here's a marvellous dubstep popcorn remix Nag recorded at his Diamant Studio mere hours before the nightmare kicked off, and Jessie e.m.'s popping and bouncing contribution to the allnighter. Hot like butters!
